One year ago today we concluded our crowdfunding campaign launching Visible Clothing with our awesome 151 early adopters. We have learnt a lot since we began production on our first batch of t-shirts experimenting with a variety of different processes whilst ensuring visible supply chains and fairness from cotton farmer to you, the consumer.
To celebrate our first birthday, we are delighted to announce that we have our first Visible kids' t-shirts for sale in a variety of colours, for 2 to 13 year olds, with or without prints on them.
We want everyone wearing clothes that are fairly made whatever age you are.
Therefore, as we are in a celebratory mood we have decided to experiment with a new method of payment. You decide what to pay!
Yep, until midnight on Thursday 28th you pay whatever you can (you won't even be charged any postage!).
We are selling these t-shirts using a pre-order model which allows us to have a variety of colours, with or without prints. Processing time is 3 weeks so you won't have long to wait!
This is the perfect opportunity to buy “my first ethical tee” and give your kids, nieces and nephews, grandkids, friends, and neighbours the opportunity to wear clothes that are made by people who are treated fairly!
Click here, select the colour and size, and then click on the 'Name Your Price' button.
Pay whatever you want but you have to do it by the end of Thursday 28th.
The Factory and the Cotton
We are committed to ensuring visibility throughout the whole supply chain (thank you to everyone who completed our survey regarding this - blog post to follow next week). Read about the factory in Tanzania where these kids' t-shirts are made.
Thank you for joining us on this eventful year. As ever we welcome your feedback and look forward to an exciting 12 months ahead,
The Visible Team
